Post Partum
Doula Support

Here from day 1

to help you navigate the tender early days with your newborn baby.

My intention as your Postpartum Doula is to help create the conditions for you and your baby to thrive, and ensure you always feel supported and nourished - from preparing homecooked meals and supporting your nervous system to rest and recover, to offering evidence-based information and holistic support to strengthen the mother/parent-baby dyad.

What I bring

A blend of practical, emotional, and holistic support tailored to your needs, that may include:

Emotional Support

  • Emotional check-ins and a non-judgmental listening ear.

  • Birth debriefing

  • Support with marking the shift in role into motherhood & parenthood

Practical & Home Support

  • Nourishing food preparation and snacks

  • Light household tasks related to babycare (baby laundry, setting up & organising baby spaces)

  • Caring for your baby so you can shower, rest, stretch, or sleep

Infant Care & Feeding Support

  • Breastfeeding, combination, and formula feeding guidance

  • Getting to know your newborn cues and behaviours

  • Co-sleeping support

  • Babywearing, reusable cloth nappies, and elimination communication

  • Establishing rhythms and responsive routines

Holistic Care

  • Nurturing postpartum rituals

  • Gentle breathwork, bodywork, and somatic practices for nervous system soothing

  • Postpartum planning and boundary-setting as you regain energy

Partner & Family Support

  • Support for partners in their new role

  • Helping siblings adjust to a changing family dynamic

All support is personalised and responsive - every mother/parent-baby dyad and family constellation is different, and my support will meet you exactly where you are.

Alina

I knew I needed to work with someone who would guide me more than direct me toward the answers and let me find them from within. That is exactly what Alice did - she instilled confidence in my ability to handle my birth every step of the way.
