Birth Doula
Support
Every woman, birth, & baby is unique, with its own special constitution.
When planning a physiological birth, having a Doula in your corner throughout to help you trust in your body and baby whilst you navigate the unknown can make all the difference to how informed and held you feel, how ready you feel to open to the process, and how you remember your birth.
You might be looking for a
Birth Doula…
-
who'll help you to understand your options for labour and birth and get clear on what feels right for you.
-
who'll be unwavering continuous support throughout your pregnancy, birth and early postpartum.
-
who feels at ease in the birth room and how to support female labour/birth physiology and oxytocin-flow.
-
who has one foot in the evidence-based research and one foot in sacred aspects of birth that can't be measured.
-
who knows how to navigate the NHS system & the right questions to ask your medical providers.
-
who has full confidence and trust in you & honours your truth, regardless of which path you choose.
-
who loves to cook & brings delicious snacks.
-
who puts you and your baby's needs and wellbeing at the centre of everything.

If yes - you're in the right place.

What I bring
I offer birth doula support for those who want to feel informed, held, and confident, while staying connected to their body and inner compass.

My work blends a deep understanding of the NHS with embodied, nervous-system-led care - supporting you through pregnancy, birth, and the early days.

I support births across home, birth centre, hospital, and caesarean settings.

I'm a fully accredited Birth Doula (Doula UK registered) and former healthcare researcher with 5+ years experience working with the NHS & US based healthcare.
I bring both system knowledge and embodied, female nervous system informed lens — trained in breathwork, somatics, and trauma-informed care. I am North-East London born and raised, and this is the community I serve as a Doula.

Your pregnancy & birth journey:
How we'll work together
Informed Birth: Clarity & Confidence in Your Choices

This is about understanding your body, your physiology, and the NHS system — so you feel steady and informed as you navigate your options. Together we explore:
-
What matters most to you — your ideal birth
-
How labour works physiologically
-
How to support your body, hormones, and physiology
-
How to make informed decisions with “what if” scenarios
-
How to feel confident expressing your preferences

Rooted Birth: Feeling Resourced & Connected for Your Labour & Birth

Here, we cultivate inner safety and bodily trust through rehearsing techniques for labour and birth. Through breathwork, movement, biomechanics, and nervous system awareness, you’ll practice ways of working with your body in labour.
Alongside this inner preparation, we gather your outer resources:
-
Your birth environment — how to support your physiology
-
Your team — how your partner and birth team can best support you

Postpartum Planning

A postpartum planning session ensures you feel prepared and resourced for the days and weeks following your baby’s birth.

We meet three times during pregnancy to move through this journey together. If there is time, we may also meet for a walk & tea - with no agenda, just time to get to know each other.

Labour & Birth Support

Grounded, continuous presence throughout your labour and birth. Support can include:
-
Movement, positioning, and biomechanics to support labour physiology
-
Breathwork
-
Protecting your environment & tag-teaming with your partner
-
Clear, calm communication with your care team
I can also remain present in the golden hours after birth, and if your wish - supporting both you and your partner as you meet your baby.

Early Days Support

One postnatal session to gently support your transition into early parenthood. This may include:
-
Birth debrief and reflection
-
Emotional processing
-
Babycare education (feeding, sleeping, babywearing)
-
Breathwork and/or gentle bodywork for nervous system restoration (optional add on)
I always bring something homemade and nourishing to these sessions.
